SCHOOL VISION :

‘Growing a community of lifelong learners within our classroom, our rural environment and in life.’

'Te tipu i te hapori o nga akonga ako-roa i roto i to taatau akomanga, to taiao me to tatou oranga.’

To assist with new entrants becoming familiar with school  routines, parents are encouraged to make contact with the  junior class teacher to arrange  pre-school visits in the four weeks prior to their fifth birthday.  Children will be invited to attend one morning a week and then on the fourth visit, for a full day. Where possible, the junior teacher will also observe the child in their pre-school environment as part of the induction process.

When enrolling new entrants, parents are now required by law to present an immunisation certificate (this is available from your family doctor), and a birth certificate.

Please be aware that children can not legally be enrolled before their fifth birthday, however we encourage you to inform us of your intentions to enrol with as much notice as possible. We have a preschool register that assists us with future staffing and planning.

An enrolment pack is available from the school office on request.
